Job Description

Our beautiful hospital is seeking a BC/BE Urologist with or without robotics training to join a hospital employed practice in West Virginia. This hospital is the only Level III trauma center in the region with over 45,000 ED visits annually. The ideal candidate will perform the full spectrum of urologic procedures and the hospital just upgraded to the Xi da Vinci Surgical System. There is an opportunity to do advanced procedures as well as bread and butter cases, and a candidate will grow a practice very quickly. There is one other independent Urologist in the community and this is a replacement position. Unassigned call requirement is 10 days per month. Practice Highlights: Flexible block scheduling for surgery cases 7 ORs in hospital and 2 ORs/4 special procedure rooms in the MOB Strong referral base with service area of over 250,000 people Sub-Specialty support to include Vascular, Thoracic, and Orthopedic Surgery, ENT, and Infectious Disease. We are the largest town in southern West Virginia and only 1 hour from Charleston! The hospital offers a full range of services including Trauma, OB, Advanced Imaging Services, Lithotripsy, Cardiac Catheterization, Oncology, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Additionally, we offer the following surgical services: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Spinal, Gyn, ENT and Podiatric. Each year, the hospital admits 12,000 patients, delivers 1,650 babies and treats nearly 50,000 people in its Emergency Department.
